How bad overcomes the Good

This one is an  small excerpt from a book on Vedanta that i am reading these days.  Many times in life we land up wondering as to why dishonest people are getting everything while good people only suffer.

It answers as to why bad people overcome good people at times. It defines people in two categories

PASSIVE  Good and PASSIVE bad- These are those people who do not use  their intellect and do not choose their actions consiously as they go along in life . They simply go along the flow, take what is provided and do what is told.

ACTIVE good and ACTIVE bad .-These are those people who do use  their intellect and choose their actions consiously as they go along in life . They simply do what they chooseand  will not be dictated to that extent and become providers for self.

When any agressive type meets passive  type the agreesive will always dominate courtesy the consious action and intellect involved.

So if agressive bad comes in contact with passive good the former dominates the equation. Hence in most cases an active bad person is dominating the passive good. But if an active good person comes into picture no way the active bad will win. The example being from mahabharat- Duryodhan being active bad dominated passive good pandavas all life but once active good Krishna came into pic and motivated pandavas to be active good they overcame active bad Kauravas.

i found this to be very logical. so next time i know what to do before complaining.
